Lolli announces Farfetch Bitcoin tie up

US startup Lolli has partnered with Farfetch, enabling people to earn 7% Bitcoin back on over 3,000 brands and boutiques from around the world. Further details here.

"I am proud to partner with Farfetch, the leading global fashion marketplace for online shopping. It empowers individuality for people all over the world by connecting creators, curators and consumers,” says Alex Adelman, CEO and Co-founder, Lolli.

“Farfetch has done amazing work for the democratisation of fashion and now it is democratising access to Bitcoin by giving people the ability to easily earn Bitcoin when they shop using Lolli. It’s great to see a global leader in the fashion industry aligned with our mission of making Bitcoin and financial literacy even more accessible to all."

Alibaba spat

Earlier this month, Lolli announced a similar tie up with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba. “This is a milestone partnership for us as Alibaba is the largest retailer and e-commerce company in the world. It allows our users to earn free Bitcoin on millions of products online every day,” said Adelman.

“Arguably the most important piece of this partnership is that it supports our mission of connecting the entire world through commerce.”

Alibaba, however, quickly kicked the collaboration into touch. Click here and here for further info.
