Alibaba Group doths cap to Aliren with AliDay

It’s that time of the year again, when Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba puts on AliDay, its employee celebration event. This sees Aliren, as they’re known, bringing their families to campus for all sorts of fun and games.
AliDay commemorates a time in 2003 when an Alibaba employee was exposed to SARS, forcing the entire company to work from home to prevent infection. Aliren continued their work to keep a newly launched e-commerce platform, Taobao, on track. The rest, as they say, is history with Taobao now the biggest online marketplace in China.
