JD.com adds Prada to e-commerce platform

Prada has announced a partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, which includes the launch of a flagship store on 17th June.

This will offer the Italian fashion house’s upcoming autumn/winter collection. As part of the partnership, its Miu Miu and Car Shoe brands will also open flagship stores on JD.com. “Prada is synonymous globally with the highest taste in fashion and luxury, and it is truly an honour to welcome them to our online platform,” says Kevin Jiang, President of International Business at JD Fashion and Lifestyle. 

“International brands are increasingly recognising the power of JD when expanding into China’s burgeoning luxury market, and we look forward to helping Prada connect with China’s sophisticated consumers.”
