Five retailers/brands that are so innovative right now

These retailers and brands are leading the way in providing technology that is one step ahead of their customers’ expectations.

1. Gymshark

Sports apparel company, Gymshark, has invested over £5 million in the Gymshark Lifting Club (GSLC), an innovation hub and fitness centre. 

2. Puma

Puma has opened a flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. The 18,000-square-foot space, spanning two levels, is its first bricks and mortar location in the city and the first of its kind in North America.

EVRYTHNG and Avery Dennison are responsible for the IoT and RFID technologies behind the store.

3. Migros

Switzerland’s largest retailer, Migros, is tapping TE-Food’s blockchain-based traceability system for a project involving its fresh fruit and vegetable supply chains.

4. Burger King

Burger King is now accepting Bitcoin payments in Germany via its delivery website and mobile app.

5. Burberry

Burberry is partnering with Apple on a new service called R Message. 

This will integrate with Burberry’s iOS app and allow store associates to directly message select clients. It will be piloted at its Manchester flagship before rolling out to all 431 global locations and 6,000 associates.
