Walmart launches free returns service via FedEx

Walmart online customers can now schedule a return, free of charge, through its new service, Carrier Pickup by FedEx.

To initiate the process, they have to schedule a date for pickup and print a return label through Walmart's website or app. Their package will then be picked up from their home by a FedEx employee.

Customers who don't have a printer can select Drop off at FedEx as the return method to get a QR code. They can then take their package to a FedEx location, where an associate will scan the QR code and print a free return label.

Walmart is also making a few changes to the process for customers who still wish to return their items in-store, further info on which can be found here.
