2020 RTIH Innovation Awards: shortlists announced

Walmart, Tesco, Alibaba Group, Flipkart, Amazon and Asda are among the retailers shortlisted at the 2020 RTIH Innovation Awards.

Categories include Bricks and Mortar Innovation, Most Innovative Pureplay, Startup of the Year and Technology Vendor of the Year.

Scott Thompson, Editor and Founder of Retail Technology Innovation Hub, says: “The coronavirus outbreak has shown just how resilient and fast moving the retail industry can be.”

“And this is reflected in the 2020 RTIH Innovation Awards shortlists, featuring as they do, agile, innovative tech ventures and retailers who have performed strongly in challenging times.”

He adds: “We were inundated with nominations and it was a challenge deciding which ones should make the cut and which would miss out. We were really impressed with the standard of entries, so to make the shortlist is no mean feat.”
