Change at the top as Trouva moves onto next stage

Trouva, an online marketplace for bricks and mortar independent boutiques, has got a new CEO.

“After almost 4.5 years as Trouva CEO, and 2.5 as StreetHub (the name of the venture when it was founded), I decided the time was right to handover the CEO role to my brilliant co-founder Alex Loizou,” Mandeep Singh said in a LinkedIn post.

“Alex has been part of the journey from day and after our stellar 2019 and $22 million fundraising in November, I can't think of anyone better to take the company I love to the next stage.”

“In these times when independents stores across Europe have had to close their doors, I couldn't be prouder of the work the team is doing to keep independents across Europe trading and thriving online,” he concluded.

Singh will continue as Director at Trouva. The platform has a network of 800 independent retailers across the UK and 12 other European countries.
