Facebook Accelerator: Commerce seeks innovative startups
Facebook has announced that applications are open for its Facebook Accelerator: Commerce initiative.
"We are looking for commerce startups based in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America who are renewing shopping experiences for buyers and sellers," Rowly Bourne, Head of VC Partnerships and Startup Growth, said in a LinkedIn post.
He added that the social media giant wants to hear from ventures who are building: technology that makes it quick and easy for companies to upload and manage inventory online; solutions that enrich product catalogue functionality and intelligence.
Shopping experiences that help buyers in their consideration phase to make more informed purchasing decisions; and new and interesting solutions that drive innovation and enhanced shopping experiences.
The 12-week, non-equity programme will provide virtual training, 1:1 mentorship, access to Facebook products, and opportunities to connect with the company's experts and founders.
