Instacart announces 7-Eleven Stateside partnership

Instacart has entered the convenience store space with a 7-Eleven partnership.

Its same-day delivery service will roll-out in phases to more than 7,000 7-Eleven US stores over the coming weeks. It has thus far launched in 750 locations in the Dallas, Miami, Baltimore and Washington, D.C., metropolitan markets.

“7-Eleven is a generational brand with a deep legacy. They’re the world’s largest convenience retailer, and are known for delivering consumers an around-the-clock accessible, convenient and affordable experience anytime, anywhere,” Instacart said in a blog post.

“We know that sometimes people need a full fridge and pantry restock, and other times they simply need a couple of items quickly. Whether it’s a late night snack, batteries for the TV remote or wood for the fire pit, through our collaboration with 7-Eleven we’re able to deliver even more consumers exactly what they need, when they want — often in as fast as 30 minutes.”
