Stadium Goods rolls out Mercaux mPOS solution

Sneaker and streetwear retailer, Stadium Goods, has extended its partnership with Mercaux by deploying the venture’s mobile payments solution.

This sits alongside an existing suite of Mercaux solutions, with the aim of “completely digitalising the customer's in-store path to purchase experience with the Store Associates offering”.

RTIH Innovation Awards

Mercaux recently emerged triumphant in the Technology Vendor of the Year (UK) category at the 2020 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The award sits alongside a Technology Vendor of the Year (Rest of World) category and celebrates companies that have developed innovative technologies and worked with retailers to transform the customer experience or back-end operations or both.

Mercaux impressed our judging panel with its new solutions and retailer partnerships, the latter including Holland & Barrett.

Sharon Peters, Head Of Technology - Marks and Spencer, HR, Finance, Corporate Services and M&S Bank, commented: “I love the fact they are adapting to the challenges retailers are/were facing and as a customer I have felt.”

“Their simple idea of engagement in queue I think is brilliant. It does seem like they really created a new service model to meet customer needs.”

Olga Kotsur, Co-founder and CEO, Mercaux, said: “Throughout 2020, we diversified and released brand new solutions, including new Covid-secure service models to help retailers attract customers back.”

She added: “Many retailers saw this year as a digital wake up call and it was great to see so many turn to Mercaux to help them serve anxious customers, both in-store and remotely.”

“We’re so pleased that the judges of this year’s award recognised the significance of digital transformation in supporting retail’s recovery.”
