B2W Digital inks Brazil focused live commerce deal with OOOOO
B2W Digital, the owner of the Americanas, Submarino, Shoptime and Sou Barato sites, has announced a Brazil-based livestreaming video commerce platform partnership with OOOOO.
OOOOO was launched in 2020 by Sam Jones, former MD at Wish, and Eric Zhang, former technology executive at Tik Tok.

"The future of e-commerce involves connecting consumers and sellers directly, through live and entertainment commerce videos. OOOOO's platform is exactly that,” says Jones.
“We believe that, with this broad ecosystem and our technology added to B2W's platform, we can build a disruptive proposal for Brazilian e-commerce.”

The live commerce platform will be headed up by In Hsieh - former Head of E-commerce Latam at Xiaomi - and integrated into B2W's ecosystem.
The tie up also involves the launch of a social commerce app and a possible B2W Digital/OOOOO joint venture in Brazil.
