vidaXL announces data driven Google Cloud partnership
Google Cloud and Netherlands-based online retailer vidaXL have entered into a three-year partnership.
This will see vidaXL migrate part of its IT infrastructure for core SAP workloads (such as ERP Central Component and Extended Warehouse Management) to Google Cloud.
Using services like BigQuery, vidaXL says it will significantly reduce the time it takes to process and analyse critical SAP data, which will provide a scalable foundation for future expansion.
It will also build new tools as well as better leveraging data to make decisions based on the changing demands of its customers, and to deliver more personalised experiences
Ted van Dongen, CIO at vidaXL, says: "Selecting Google Cloud as our provider of choice was a logical and valuable IT decision.”
“We are growing at pace, and our customers are at the heart of everything we do. By investing in an open cloud infrastructure, we can scale and keep up with our customer needs.”
“And speed is exactly what it's all about: we're not just growing, we're growing very fast. And with Google Cloud, we can facilitate that now."
