Firework taps former Gap, PayPal exec to lead global engineering team
Livestream commerce platform provider Firework has announced the appointment of Shivkumar Krishnan as VP of Engineering.
He joins from Gap, where he served as Global Head of Engineering for Stores Technology, led the modernisation of in-store legacy technologies to native mobile and cloud technologies, and later headed up all aspects of design, assortment, franchises, and the Gap Digital Lab innovation team.
At PayPal and Intuit, meanwhile, he oversaw engineering teams that served small and large business segments processing over $100 billion in payment volume.
“Arriving at Firework is a kind of full circle moment for me, having co-founded a company early in my career to build short-form videos for on-demand playback of sporting events,” Krishnan says.
