Scurri announces online delivery partnership with what3words
Scurri, an Irish software provider that connects and optimises the e-commerce ordering, shipping and delivery process, has teamed up with what3words, a UK-based proprietary geocode system company designed to provide more accurate location information.
The tie up will allow carriers on the Scurri platform to deliver online orders to unique three word addresses generated by what3words.
The integration aids in helping carriers locate exactly where customers are, no longer relying on street addresses alone.
“The post-purchase process is one of the most important aspects of a customer experience, and delivery is the stage where processes, unfortunately, may go awry, causing frustration and confusion for both the carrier and the customer,” comments Rory O’Connor, CEO and Founder at Scurri.
“While e-commerce is booming, it is an anxiety that many shoppers face, that their package may get lost along the way. what3words gives Scurri’s businesses an added layer of protection, helping provide the best customer service possible.”
Chris Sheldrick, Co-founder and CEO at what3words, adds: “As online shopping continues to gain pace, so does the expectation for precise and smooth deliveries.”
“With what3words, Scurri can offer its retailer partners, their carriers, and its customers an unparalleled experience. Carriers can better optimise routes, find customers first time and cut out the inefficiencies that create surplus emissions in the last mile.”
