3D Cloud by Marxent offers retailers early access programme for 3D Cloud Room Scanner solution
3D Cloud by Marxent, a specialist in 3D kitchen design and furniture planning, has announced an early access programme for its 3D Cloud Room Scanner offering.
Retailers can now sign up to be among the first to deploy the capabilities of the company's LiDAR room scan to design solution for capturing room measurements that can then be directly dropped into 3D Cloud Room Planner for designing with real, buyable products.
"With 3D Cloud Room Scanner, users can effortlessly capture accurate floorplan measurements and seamlessly import them into our comprehensive suite of design applications, including the 3D Cloud Kitchen Designer, 3D Cloud Office Planner, 3D Cloud Bathroom Designer, and 3D Cloud Room Planner," says Beck Besecker, CEO and Co-Founder at 3D Cloud by Marxent.
He adds: “We are thrilled to offer this exclusive preview opportunity for the 3D Cloud Room Scanner. With early access, retailers will have the chance to experience the future of in-house interior design programmes first hand, unlocking new levels of efficiency, accuracy, and creativity.”
“We are excited to collaborate with our clients and gather their invaluable feedback as we continue to shape the future of 3D design technology."
Funding round
US-based 3D Cloud by Marxent recently raised $7.5 million in a Series D round of funding.

The round increased 3D Cloud by Marxent’s valuation to over $135 million. It has raised $42 million in total to date.
2022 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
3D Cloud by Marxent emerged victorious at the 2022 RTIH Innovation Awards, playing a key part in B&Q picking up the Most Innovative UK Retailer gong.
Our 2022 winners were revealed at a sold out event in central London on Tuesday, 6th December.
B&Q is at the forefront of cutting-edge 3D visualisation, planning, and design technology. In 2022, it announced the largest and most comprehensive roll-out of 3D home improvement design experiences in the market today.
The retailer didn’t just deploy an app or service. It designed and deployed an entire 3D strategy that aligns with changing consumer behaviour.
It lays claim to being the first retailer to move away from an incumbent software solution that the industry has been using since the 1980s to a single SaaS-based kitchen, bathroom and bedroom/storage design platform for consumers and stores alike.
The initiative also includes a 3D kitchen, bathroom, and storage planner with virtual reality capabilities in addition to a series of mobile 3D product configurators for other products.
RTIH Editor, Scott Thompson, said: “Innovation and technology play a critical role in the success of the retail sector, so it is great to recognise standout examples through our awards.”
“Thanks to all those who entered the 2022 event. We received a record number of submissions and many fantastic examples of the continued resilience and dynamism of the retail space during hugely challenging times.”
“Congratulations to our 2022 retail technology hall of fame entrants.”
The 2023 RTIH Innovation Awards are now open for submissions. Further details here.
