Asos veteran and fraud prevention specialist Morgan McAlinden-Wall ends epic 11 year run at online retailer

Morgan McAlinden-Wall has announced her departure from Asos, where she spent the past 11 years, holding various roles during that time, most recently Global Fraud Prevention Manager.

In a LinkedIn post, in which she did not reveal her next move, she said: “After 11 years at Asos, I’m coming up to my final few weeks as an Asoser and it honestly feels pretty emotional writing that. I joined customer care back in 2015, and in 2018 I stepped into a maternity cover role in fraud. At the time, I had no idea where that opportunity would lead, but it ended up becoming a role and a career that I genuinely grew to love!”

She added: “Looking back, I feel incredibly lucky with the individuals I’ve worked alongside over the years. Talented, supportive teams who’ve shaped not only the work we’ve done, but me personally too. Together we’ve navigated challenges, driven change, and delivered results I’m so so proud of.”

“To everyone I’ve worked with, managed, and learned from along the way, thank you. Your support, trust, and friendship have meant more than you probably realise, and I’ll genuinely miss working with you all every day. I’m excited for what’s next, grateful for everything this chapter has given me, and very happy to be continuing my journey within fraud and cyber.”

Natasha Jeffers

Asos recently announced the appointment of Natasha Jeffers as Managing Director, Global Trading.

In a newly created role, she will be responsible for its global P&L across the UK, US, EU and Rest of World, bringing together regional trading, pricing and promotional strategy, and storefront optimisation.

Jeffers joins from Amazon Fashion, where she spent almost nine years, of which the last four have been in a general manager role, where she has led growth, operational improvements and cross‑functional transformation across Europe.

Ben Blake, EVP Customer & Commercial, Asos, says: “Natasha’s appointment strengthens our commercial leadership and underlines our focus on delivering relevant, inspiring customer experiences globally. Her ecommerce expertise, analytical mindset and proven ability to build high performing trading teams will be invaluable as we continue to execute our strategy for sustainable, profitable growth.”

Jeffers comments: “Asos is where I built some of the most formative years of my career, so returning now is a full circle moment. This is such an exciting time for the business, and I can’t wait to get started helping it write the next chapter, one that keeps the customer firmly at the heart of everything we do and is guided by the insights that help us serve them better.”

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Fashion retail will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
