Evri appoints former Parcel Pending by Quadient and InPost exec Tim Eaden as Locker Partnership Director

Tim Eaden has joined Evri as Locker Partnership Director. He was previously at Parcel Pending by Quadient, where he served as Head of Acquisition. Prior to that, he worked at InPost UK. His CV also includes stints at Selecta and PayPoint.

In a LinkedIn post, he said: “At Quadient, I had the privilege of working across the Open Locker Network, building partnerships with retailers, transport hubs and property managers to make parcel collection and returns more convenient and sustainable. I learned so much about what it takes to scale a locker network the right way, and I'm grateful for the team, partners and industry connections I built along the way.”

He added: “Now I'm looking forward to bringing that experience to Evri, a business already carrying over one billion parcels a year and rapidly expanding its ParcelShop and locker estate across the UK. I'll be focused on growing its locker partnerships and helping make parcel delivery even more convenient for millions of customers. Great opportunity to connect with partners and friends as I move into this exciting new role. Looking forward to connecting with as many people as possible. As always reach out directly.”

Milestone

Quadient reports that its Parcel Pending by Quadient locker network now exceeds 3,000 locations across the UK. Open to all major logistics providers, including Royal Mail, Evri, DPD and UPS, the lockers allow consumers to send, collect and return parcels 24 hours a day. The network also supports prescription collection, retail Click and Collect, key exchange, spare parts collection and temporary luggage storage through partnerships with companies such as KeyNest, Stasher, Qeepl and Radical.

Quadient lockers are available through a network of host partners, including Shell Service Stations, Morrisons, Northern Rail, Buzz Bingo, Everyone Active, The Range and Stonegate Group pubs.

"Surpassing 3,000 locations is more than a network milestone; it marks a fundamental shift in how people manage deliveries, returns, and everyday services. Consumers increasingly seek a single, convenient location to access multiple carriers and services. Carriers and retailers require dense and scalable infrastructure that improves efficiency and reduces costs and environmental impact,” says Geoffrey Godet, Quadient CEO.

“Our open locker network addresses these needs, creating shared infrastructure that benefits consumers, businesses, logistics providers, and host partners. As we continue to expand at a rapid pace across the UK, we are further building the foundation for the future of out of home delivery and local community services."

With over 28,200 locker units installed worldwide, Quadient says that it is on track to deploy 40,000 lockers globally by 2030.

2026 RTIH Innovation Awards

Parcel lockers will be a key focus area at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards.

The awards are now open for entries and celebrate global retail technology innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.

Our winners will be revealed at the 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Ceremony, taking place at The HAC in Central London on Wednesday, 4th November.

Check out our 2025 winners here.

Our 2025 hall of fame entrants were revealed during a sold out event which took place at The HAC on 16th October and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by award winning comedian, actress and writer Tiff Stevenson.

In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “This is the awards’ fifth year as a physical event. We started off with just 30 people at the South Place Hotel not far from here, then moved to London Bridge Hotel, then The Barbican, and last year RIBA’s HQ in the West End.”

“But I’m conscious of the fact that, to quote the legend that is Taylor Swift, You’re only as hot as your last hit, baby. So, this year we’ve moved to our biggest venue yet, and also pulled in our largest number of entries to date and broken attendance records.”

He added: “This year’s submissions have without doubt been our best yet. To quote one of the judges: The examples of innovative developments across both traditional and digital retail spaces were truly remarkable.”

Congratulations to our winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Tiff Stevenson, and all those who attended our 2025 gathering.
