These retailers are leading the way in providing technology that is one step ahead of their customers’ expectations.

1. Target

Target is working on a blockchain-powered solution for supply chain management, dubbed ConsenSource. And it has also announced support for the Hyperledger Grid project.

2. Loblaw

Loblaw has announced a multi-year partnership with Microsoft as the Canadian food and pharmacy retailer looks to unlock new opportunities with AI, machine learning, data and the cloud.

3. Waitrose

Waitrose is extending its Rapid Delivery trial outside London.

4. Morrisons

Morrisons and Amazon are rolling out their same-day delivery service for groceries to Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield and Portsmouth.

5. VF Corp.

VF Corp., parent company of Vans, The North Face and Timberland, is stepping up its collaboration with Alibaba Group’s B2C e-commerce marketplace Tmall.

Asos has launched Virtual Catwalk, its first augmented reality (AR) offering, developed in conjunction with HoloMe.
