Aero Commerce takes wraps off new e-commerce platform

Former Visualsoft Directors Richard Bendelow and Matt Burton have launched a new e-commerce platform, Aero.

Their company, Aero Commerce, has received over £1 million in funding from the likes of Maven Capital Partners. It has also made a number of key hires, including lead developer Tim Spratt, UX specialist Steven Roberts and corporate business development executive Robert Cooper.

Bendelow (who also co-founded Visualsoft) says: “We are already working with a number of agencies and retailers across the UK who are looking for a bespoke and powerful platform that has the speed and functionality that retailers expect, alongside bespoke functionality that offers an exemplary online experience for the end user. It’s great to be back in the market and we’re looking forward to sharing the Aero journey.”

Independent designer fashion boutique, Garment Quarter, has recently moved its online store to Aero. Director Phil Hankinson says: “We became fed up with rising update costs from our Magento platform and we’ve seen an 84% increase in conversion rates and a 10 fold reduction in monthly costs since using Aero’s technology, so we couldn’t be happier.”

Visualsoft declined to comment on the launch of Aero.
