Sex Doll Genie announces recruitment drive as sales surge

Online retailer Sex Doll Genie is on the hunt for more staff following a record number of orders during the coronavirus pandemic.

It has positions available in both the US and Europe. The company reports a 51.6% increase in orders from single men in February and March with a 33.2% year-on-year growth in purchases by couples in April.

Janet Stevenson, co-founder, says: “We have lots of products in stock but we can’t work fast enough to keep up with demand. We are hiring as quickly as we can and have created several new roles in fulfilment management and customer support in both the US and Europe.”

The new fulfilment managers will be able to work from home and will pack and ship dolls to customers. Those applying for roles will also have the opportunity to work with the Sex Doll Genie creative team to take product images, keep the knowledge base updated and provide information to customers.

The retailer has increased its customer support capacity during the pandemic to offer 24/7 assistance. It is now recruiting for junior customer support representatives to work in the US and Europe to help handle requests and queries coming in via the website’s live chat, email and over the phone.

In line with social distancing requirements, all positions can be performed remotely from home.
