Pudu Robotics bags $15 million for indoor delivery robots
Chinese startup Pudu Robotics has announced a $15 million Series B round, with Beijing food services group, Meituan as the sole investor.
Founded in 2016, the company sells low-speed autonomous, self-charging robots designed to move goods and interact with customers in hospitality and service settings.
It has over 2,000 hotel, restaurant and hospital customers across 20 countries, including Sheraton, Wowa Brothers and JD.com. Pudu will use the funds to develop new products, expand sales, and explore markets overseas.
