Pornhub hand sanitiser now available via online store

E-commerce venture Pornhub Apparel is now selling hand sanitiser as the US continues to reel from the coronavirus outbreak.

Powered by Shopify, the Pornhub spin off, which launched in 2015, implores its customers to ‘put their hands to good use and keep them clean with our Hand Sanitiser. Available in either 2oz/4oz 3 packs, so you can keep one to use on the go, by your desk or in the car.”

It adds that: “Following the guidelines of the CDC this hand sanitiser targets bacteria and germs, though we cannot guarantee its effectiveness against Covid-19 and do not make any such claims. It should be used based on the suggestions to wash hands regularly. Items should be handled by an adult and kept out of reach from anyone under 18.”

The US reported at least 51,842 new coronavirus cases on Friday, a third day straight with a high of more than 50,000 as the 4th July holiday weekend kicked into gear.

Mia Khalifa

June was Pride month and Pornhub decided to celebrate LGBTQ+ communities around the world by running an interview with bisexual content creator Wolf Hudson.

Enter a bunch of people calling for Pornhub to take down videos featuring social media personality, sports commentator and model Mia Khalifa.

One of the site’s most searched for adult stars, Khalifa made 11 films during a three-month period in 2014, and recently said on social media that the videos will haunt her until she dies. She has also been trying for years to get them removed from a number of adult sites.

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Khalifa moved to the United States in 2001. Her transition into the porn business was met with controversy in the muslim community. In particular, a BangBros video in which she wore the Islamic hijab caused her to receive death threats.

No beef with Pornhub

At the same time that many people were hitting out at Pornhub’s Pride message, Khalifa tweeted: “My fight isn't with Pornhub, it's with BangBros. PH is home to some strong, independent, entrepreneurial women who own, produce and distribute their own content. I AM NOT HERE TO GET IN THE WAY OF ANYONE'S BAG.”

“I just want Bangbros to stop actively putting me in harm's way by promoting my six-year-old videos like they're new, making millions of ppl think I'm still active. The death threats are emotionally crippling, I haven't felt safe even going to the grocery store alone in years,” she added.
