LSE Retail deploys Klevu e-commerce technology

UK home and lighting retail group LSE Retail has switched to AI product discovery solution, Klevu, to power on-site e-commerce search and category merchandising on its Iconic Lights brand.

It is reporting a return of £30 for every £1 spent on the tool.

E-commerce conversion also increased by 15% within one month of turning on Klevu Smart Category Merchandising. In addition, LSE saw a 5% decrease in category bounce rate and a 15% increase in the value of category pages.

“We are thrilled to have a site-search and merchandising solution in place that really works, and is easy for us to manage. I love watching the ‘all items’ category on the website change in real-time in line with the products trending and popular with customers,” says Leila Boyd, E-commerce Manager at LSE Retail.

Ian Scarr, Head of UK at Klevu, says: “Using the same provider for site-search as retailers do for other website personalisation is just a no brainer.”

“You will get better data from search to inform your product listings and recommendations, and consolidate the businesses responsible for your e-commerce conversion.”

Other retailers using tools from Klevu include Puma, Paperchase, Curvy Kate and Menkind.
