Ascot Racecourse partners with ProntoCX for mobile wallet launch

Ascot Racecourse has launched a new digital initiative called Ascot Fan Pass. 

Tapping its existing NFC digital ticketing technology, the mobile wallet (available on Apple and Google devices) offers customers a new way to engage with Ascot Racecourse, featuring exclusive offers and the latest updates. 

Users can this month win an exclusive styling session and shopping spree at L.K. Bennett. 

“A big thank you to our tech partners on this project, ProntoCX, for making it happen,” George Vaughan, Head Of Technology at Ascot Racecourse, said in a LinkedIn post.

English Premier League champions, Manchester City, are marking their title winning campaign with the launch of a series of commemorative digital artwork, the ‘1’ collection, which will be available for purchase as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

This will be the first ever time a Premier League champion has dropped an NFT (a digital asset and collectible, the authenticity, rarity, scarcity, ownership etc of which is independently guaranteed, verified, and secured on blockchain tech), to celebrate a title win. 

The collection comprises four works by multidisciplinary artist, Jon Noorlander, The Champions Celebrate, the hero piece of the collection, which will be a unique edition, Signed by the Champions, The Champions Mosaic and The Champions Medal.
