Sezzle inks Market America Worldwide, SHOP.COM BNPL deal

Market America Worldwide, owner of e-commerce site SHOP.COM, has partnered with buy now, pay later venture Sezzle.

Sezzle’s platform, enabling people to pay in four instalments over six weeks with zero interest, will be made available to US consumers through SHOP.COM and to all US UnFranchise owners through the UnFranchise.com website beginning early summer.

Spanish q-commerce startup Glovo has announced an agreement with online food delivery venture Delivery Hero to acquire some of its companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

Lisbon-based startup Sensei has announced its first autonomous store opening to the public, in partnership with Portuguese retailer Sonae.

The move closely follows a $6.5 million seed fund raise.

Majid Al Futtaim has implemented new advertising technology at its Carrefour UAE business.

It says that, as a result, website and smartphone app customers will receive the most relevant and appealing advertised promotions.

Amazon picks Canary Wharf for latest London Amazon Fresh store

Amazon has opened an Amazon Fresh location in Canary Wharf, London.

It’s the fourth such convenience store to feature Just Walk Out Shopping tech in the UK, which was pioneered at the Amazon Go offering in the States.
