Digital fashion marketplace Depop hits Sook Oxford Street from 11th-13th November
Peer-to-peer social e-commerce company, Depop, is encouraging people to buy secondhand and circular fashion through a series of pop-ups hosted by top sellers at Sook.
For three days only, Depop will step into the real world at the Sook Oxford Street, London space.
Celiapops and Identity Party will be on Europe’s busiest shopping street on 11th and 12th November with an edit of handpicked vintage and Y2K pieces, including an entire downstairs sale section with prices starting at £5.
Celiapops has previously used the Sook 42 South Molton Street space.
They will be followed by IMI MADAN, Scotty Taylor, and SORTED, bringing their offering of men’s and women’s designer and streetwear to the space on Sunday, 13th November.
The event is made possible through ‘Powered by Depop’, a sponsorship programme which gives sellers the tools to take their business offline and engage with like-minded people by hosting pop-up shopping events across the UK.
Depop seller pop-ups will be also taking place across Manchester, Sheffield and Nottingham throughout November and December.
Sook’s CEO John Hoyle comments: “We’ve had multiple Depoppers use our spaces in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Southampton over the past 18 months, with many of these sellers driving huge queues of customers keen to get their hands on their one-off pieces and vintage outfits.”
“We’re delighted to work with Powered by Depop to give more sellers the opportunity to bring their products into the real world in high streets and shopping centres across the UK, allowing them to meet fans and potential new customers, and offering the perfect blend of online and offline shopping.”
