Christopher Conrad departs Levi Strauss & Co. CIO role to become Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren reports that Christopher Conrad has joined the business as Chief Digital and Technology Officer. He succeeds Janet Sherlock, who will retire in September.  

Conrad previously served as SVP and CIO at Levi Strauss & Co. for seven years. He has also held technology leadership positions at Billabong, Lululemon and American Eagle.   

In a LinkedIn post, Sherlock said: “My journey at Ralph Lauren has been nothing short of magical. I have had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented and inspirational individuals and teams who embody our shared passion for the brand and commitment to excellence.”

She added: “I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Global Digital and Technology teams. It’s been an honour and a privilege working with such dedicated, brilliant, and capable teams for the past seven years.”

“Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, from our award winning digital flagship site to creating unique consumer experiences and driving digital growth. I am especially proud of our leadership position in AI and GenAI strategy, utilisation, and governance.”

Last year, Sherlock completed her doctorate in Organisational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. focusing on organisational design and its impact on productivity.

She plans to continue her research, publish white papers, and advise companies on enhancing effectiveness and profitability through organisational design and structure.

Sherlock concluded: “With my departure, I am pleased to introduce my successor, Christopher Conrad. Chris brings a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly ensure the continuity of our digital journey forward, with a focus on enhancing consumer experiences.”
