RTIH Innovation Awards: Supply chain shortlist announced
RTIH is pleased to announce the shortlists for its first ever Innovation Awards.
There are seven categories in all. Yesterday, we kicked things off with Bricks and Mortar Innovation. And today it’s time to lift the lid on the Supply Chain Innovation category. Runners and riders as follows:
JD.com
JD.com has launched what is pitched as China’s first 5G-powered smart logistics park in Beijing.
Migros
Migros is tapping TE-Food’s blockchain-based traceability system for a project involving its fresh fruit and vegetable supply chains.
Kroger
Kroger and Ocado have made a number of Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) announcements in 2019.
Farfetch
Sorted has inked a deal with Farfetch to integrate its technology into the online fashion venture’s logistics, carrier and delivery operations.
Zalando
Zalando has ordered KNAPP tech for its new 140,000 m² distribution centre near Rotterdam, which will serve customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain and the UK.
Walmart Canada
Walmart Canada has partnered with DLT Labs to launch a blockchain-based freight and payment network.
