Five retailers and brands that are all about the blockchain right now

These retailers and brands are leading the way in the blockchain space.

1. Farmer Connect

IBM and Farmer Connect recently rocked up at CES 2020 to demo a blockchain-based app that allows consumers to learn about the coffee beans they purchase.

2. Burger King

Burger King has started Bitcoin payments in the first of 40 stores in Venezuela. 

A tweet confirmed that a branch in the Sambil area of Caracas now accepts the cryptocurrency, along with altcoins Ether, Litecoin, Binance Coin and Dash and stablecoin Tether. The other 39 locations will follow suit this year.

3. Juventus

Fans of Italian football club Juventus have used the Socios blockchain platform to vote on the song to be played every time a home goal is scored.

4. CHO

CHO is tapping IBM’s blockchain technology to provide traceability for its Terra Delyssa extra virgin olive oil. 

5. Travala

Hotel booking giant Travala has added Tether (USDT) as an online payment option.
