Belcorp begins Perfect Corp. virtual try-on tech roll-out
Belcorp, a beauty company which is home to the ésika, L’Bel and Cyzone brands, has deployed Perfect Corp.’s artificial intelligence and augmented reality powered virtual try-on technology.
Belcorp plans to integrate this across Latin America, and has already launched the tech in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, and Panama.
“Beauty and technology are like a marriage made in heaven. Beauty consumers have adopted new technologies such as AI and AR beauty tech much faster than other verticals,” says Venkat Gopalan, Chief Technology, Data and Digital Officer at Belcorp.
“The needs of our consumers change constantly and it’s more important than ever to provide them with personalised experiences across all touchpoints. Technology plays a very important role by providing the best experience to tomorrow’s beauty consumers.
Avon calling
Perfect Corp. has also recently partnered with Avon México.
Avon is an early adopter of Perfect Corp’s AI and AR tech within its digital shopping experience, providing virtual try-on and shade matching for a selection of Avon PowerStay products across foundations, eye makeup, and lip categories, as well as its Advanced Techniques hair colour collection.
The service is available to over 400,000 Avon representatives across the Mexican territory.
