McDonald’s, Netflix, and Tyson Fury: bodo co-founder Jack Green puts the case for rapid delivery services
Jack Green, co-founder of bodo, bodo, a sustainable same-day delivery service used by UK e-commerce brands, has taken to social media to defend the quick commerce space.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: “Sometimes brands say to me: are you sure we NEED same day delivery? No, of course you don’t.”
“But I don’t NEED to order McDonald’s at 2am on a Saturday night. And I love Uber Eats for it. I don’t NEED that little button that skips the title scene when I’m binge watching At Home With The Furys. And I love Netflix for it.”
He added: “We value and adore the brands that invest in exceptional customer experience. And we come back for more. Sometimes we even get the mozzarella sticks and dip them in the spicy sauce. While bingeing Netflix. And we love ourselves for it.”

Packfleet tie up
bodo recently announced a partnership with Packfleet, an all electric courier.
bodo has a portfolio of over 50 brands, including SURI, COAT, TRIP CBD, HeyHarper, PeachyDen, and FreeSoul. It operates central London warehouses powered by solar energy and utilises eco-packaging.
The company collaborates with other sustainability driven firms, such as SURI and COAT, both B Corps, to promote ethical supply chain practices.
Packfleet, also a B Corp, operates in London with a 100% electric fleet charged by renewable energy and steered by routing technology.
It is now facilitating deliveries for bodo customers within the M25.
The pair say that, since the start of their collaboration in May, almost 98% of parcels have been delivered first time and not a single parcel has been damaged in transit.
“Partnering with Packfleet, a market leading sustainable courier, furthers our progress in decarbonising the e-commerce supply chain. Packfleet is helping us disband this idea that speed and convenience should come at an environmental cost,” says Green, formerly of Deliveroo.
