Shipping and logistics specialist Auctane bolsters executive team with addition of new CTO and CFO

Auctane, a specialist in the mailing and shipping space through products like ShipStation, Stamps.com, Metapack, and Packlink, has announced the appointments of Nick Ciubotariu as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Sal Lombardi as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Ciubotariu joins with over 20 years of experience leading technology strategy and execution for high growth companies. Most recently, he served as SVP, Global Enterprise Architecture, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Assets/Crypto at Nasdaq.

Prior to this, he was PayPal’s CTO of Product Technology, and held senior leadership positions at Amazon, and Microsoft, where he played a key role in developing and delivering solutions like Venmo, Checkout, Amazon Search, Alexa Messaging, and AWS Rekognition.

Lombardi was previously at C1, a company specialising in AI powered security, infrastructure, and communications, where he served as CFO. Before that, he held various senior leadership positions at cxLoyalty over a period of 20 years.
