ShopAi claims world first integrated AI video conferencing platform with real-time translation and intelligence
ShopAi has announced the launch of its video conferencing system, integrating real-time multilingual translation, dual AI assistance, and dynamic data visualisation, all within its web-based SAAS platform.
This builds on its conversational AI platform. "Business has always been global, but effective communication hasn't," says Ilann Hepworth, CEO at ShopAi and former Jisp Managing Director. "Our platform eliminates the friction points in multilingual business meetings while adding intelligence that makes every conversation more productive."
ShopAi's system delivers multilingual communication where participants speak in their native language and hear others in their preferred language through real-time audio translation.
It introduces two concurrent AI modes during video calls:
• Public AI Participant: Provides audible data insights, answers questions, and offers relevant information to all meeting participants
• Private AI Assistant: Allows participants to request confidential information via text chat without disrupting the meeting flow
ShopAi's video platform integrates with its newly released scheduling capabilities, allowing users to:
• Book meetings directly within the platform using its built-in calendar system
• Send invitations to both registered users and external guests
• Create contact groupings based on role-based access permissions
• Generate ICS files for calendar integration across platforms
• Sync with CalDAV servers for enterprise calendar integration
A suite of AI powered outputs are available immediately after each session:
• Multilingual Transcriptions: Complete word for word records available in multiple languages simultaneously, with speaker identification and timestamping
• Executive Summaries: AI generated concise overviews capturing core discussion points, decisions, and insights
• Action Item Reports: Automatically extracted commitments, responsibilities, and deadlines from meeting conversations
• Data Insights Analysis: AI identified patterns, anomalies, and opportunities mentioned during discussions
• Strategic Recommendation Documents: AI generated suggestions for next steps based on meeting content
These post-meeting intelligence documents eliminate the need for manual note taking and reduce the risk of miscommunication or missed action items. "The post-meeting intelligence capabilities fundamentally change how organisations capture and leverage meeting content," says Hepworth. "By automating the documentation process with AI, we're not just saving time - we're substantially increasing the business value of every conversation."
The system automatically generates comprehensive meeting documentation, including:
• Multilingual transcriptions with speaker identification
• Sentiment analysis highlighting key discussion points
• Auto-generated data visualisations from conversations
• Complete PDF reports available immediately after meetings
Unlike traditional video conferencing solutions requiring downloads or plugins, ShopAi delivers this functionality entirely through a web browser. "What makes this truly revolutionary is the delivery method," says Christophe Chaland, CTO at ShopAi. "Providing this level of functionality through a pure web application means organisations can deploy it immediately without IT overhead or security concerns."
Early adopters report significant improvements in meeting efficiency and international team alignment. One global retail organisation using the platform has reported a 42% reduction in meeting time while achieving better outcomes and stronger team alignment across language barriers.
The integrated video conferencing system is available immediately as part of ShopAi's Professional and Enterprise subscription tiers, with special migration packages for organisations seeking to replace existing video collaboration tools.
