RTIH Innovation Awards: Best Global Retailer/Tech Supplier Relationship shortlist announced

Albertsons, Firework, Decathlon, PAL Robotics, Schnuks and Simbe Robotics are among the nominees in the Best Global Retailer/Tech Supplier Relationship category at the 2021 RTIH Innovation Awards.

This award recognises a successful partnership between a global retailer and a technology supplier, with an emphasis on the last 12 months and how said partnership has gone from strength to strength during that period.

Shortlist as follows:

Albertsons/Firework

This October, Firework joined forces with Albertsons’ Companies to bring shoppertainment to online grocery for the very first time.

Bealls and TruRating

Bealls continues to look at new ways to implement TruRating (a multi-channel feedback solution at checkout) across its business in what has become a growing and organic partnership.

Decathlon/PAL Robotics

Decathlon and PAL Robotics have launched a global partnership after the latter’s StockBot inventory tracking and data collection solution was selected for roll-out across the former’s stores in multiple countries, assisting teams and elevating in-store experience.

1822 Denim/3DLOOK

1822 Denim has tapped 3DLOOK's YourFit, an e-commerce solution that virtualises the shopping experience and adds a dressing room to the online customer journey.

Schnucks/Simbe Robotics

Over the past year, Simbe Robotics and US-based grocer Schnucks deepened their partnership by expanding chainwide – a first of its kind full-scale expansion and a major milestone in the industry.

The Kooples/Yoobic

The Kooples has 330 stores in 13 countries and needed to streamline communications and processes across its network.

The partnership with Yoobic resulted in a 50% reduction in defective products in six months, a doubling in VM compliance across the entire network and more than 90% of VM updates were executed in under 48 hours.

What’s next?

We will now ask our judging panel to cast their votes and provide their feedback. The winner will be revealed on 8th December at a roundtable discussion/networking event in central London.
