Clubhouse chooses Abraxas Higgins as new app icon

Social audio app Clubhouse has announced Abraxas Higgins as its new “icon” and also the launch of a new Saved Replays feature.

According to a press release: “With 449K followers, Abraxas is the most followed creator in Europe and the first UK creator to be named as Clubhouse’s app icon.”

“He aspires to be head of the so called Great Resignation, having spent seven years working as a strategist on Wall Street before leaving the world of finance to pursue a passion project as a social audio influencer.  Since making the move, he has launched brand partnerships with the likes of Ted Baker, Adobe and, most recently, IWC.”

Clubhouse says that it chose Abraxas as its new app icon as, because he’s “an example of somebody that saw an unexpected path and stepped right into it instead of shying away, following it to a new life”.

Saved Replays

The Saved Replays feature, meanwhile, is being rolled out for all iOS and Android users.

It means that if a user sees a room they are interested in but don’t have time to listen, they can save it down to enjoy later. They will be able to find their Saved Replays from the share icon on their profile.

Saved Replays follow the wider launch of Replays last month, which allow users to listen to live room recordings after they’ve happened.
