St-Germain and Pinterest team on “first of its kind cocktail experience”
St-Germain has partnered with Pinterest to target Pinners who are looking for cocktail inspiration, bartender hacks and ways to improve their drinks.
This features an immersive and interactive experience and is the first partnership to be replicated across multiple countries (UK, US, Canada, France and Italy).
The interactive video unit prompts Pinners to make three choices as they build their own custom cocktail. The video then changes and responds in real-time based on selections.
Food and drink inspiration is one of the primary reasons people come to Pinterest.
According to the latter’s research, shoppers are nine times more likely to say it’s the most influential platform in their food and beverage purchase journey than social media competitors and eight in ten shoppers on Pinterest use it for inspiration in this area.
"We are thrilled to be embarking on this innovative partnership with Pinterest," says Emma Fox, Global Vice President at St-Germain.
"St-Germain brings a little extra je-ne-sais-quoi to your favourite cocktail. We like to say it’s the extra virgin olive oil for your home bar, just a dash effortlessly elevates any cocktail recipe.”
“As Pinterest is where people go to be inspired, this first of its kind cocktail experience will provide people the perfect opportunity to personalise their cocktail creations and discover new ways to make cocktail blooms with St-Germain."
