Australian healthy fast food outfit Oliver's claims an AI first as it deploys its newest team member Ollie
Oliver’s, a healthy fast food firm that has 15 restaurants along the Australian east coast and Food To Go outlets at nearly 200 EG service stations nationwide, is laying claim to the country’s first true conversational AI server.
In a LinkedIn post, it said: “Our newest team member, Ollie, has been developed in partnership with Sodaclick and will be taking drive-thru orders at our Pheasants Nest Southbound store.”
“Ollie is set to enhance the drive-thru experience so our team can focus on creating nourishing healthy wholefoods and a memorable experience for our valued customers.”
It added: “What makes Ollie so special is he not only speaks with an Australian accent, but is integrated with Prepit (food production software) to display detailed menu information, including ingredients and allergens to assist customers in making informed decisions based on their dietary needs.”
“Come and say hello to Ollie at our Pheasants Nest Southbound store or if you’d prefer to speak with another member of staff when ordering our signature egg wrap or your bacon and egg roll, simply ask. Welcome to the team Ollie!”
