Omnichannel Retail Initiative of the Year shortlist as follows:
This award will go to a tech centric approach to retail that provides customers with a fully integrated shopping experience across bricks and mortar stores, online, mobile, and everything in between.
Clarks and NewStore
In just over a year, Clarks underwent a global digital transformation, partnering with NewStore and AbsoluteLabs to implement a unified commerce platform across 512 stores in 13 countries. The initiative included a new mobile PoS and omnichannel order management system, resulting in a seamless and consistent customer experience across channels.
Ikea
Ikea knows that consumer habits are changing, and so it wants to embrace new technologies and expand its Click and Collect options to make shopping at the retailer more accessible, affordable and sustainable to the many and bring it closer to the customer than ever before.
Ikea UK has partnered with Tesco UK and taken part in a global test and trial project for pick-up lockers. The lockers have been specially designed to meet the specific needs of customers and can easily accommodate everything from single home furnishing accessories to even the largest furniture orders.
Jisp
Jisp is transforming the traditionally fragmented convenience sector by offering independent retailers an integrated omnichannel solution.
Through its Scan and Save feature, it connects in-store and online experiences, allowing retailers to offer discounts, loyalty rewards, and brand promotions via in-app alerts, PoS systems, emails, and social media.
Lowe’s Companies
Mobile apps play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales. Customers seek a smooth and intuitive experience at every stage of their shopping journey. Lowe’s solution, In-Store Mode, serves as a customer’s digital shopping companion.
The product has undergone significant improvements that have elevated the in-store shopping experience, ultimately leading to increased customer satisfaction and engagement. In-Store Mode acts as a key shopping resource, offering customers’ convenience and flexibility.
Customers are empowered to navigate aisles, streamline cart management and discover relevant products while physically located within a Lowe’s store and beyond the four walls.
Shopopop
Shopopop’s mission is to make online groceries and goods accessible for everyone by building the world’s leading community driven delivery platform. Combining the best of technology and human common sense, it pairs retailers and supermarkets with trusted local shoppers who handle last mile deliveries.
Superdrug and Movable Ink
Superdrug’s omnichannel approach enhanced customer engagement through two dynamic campaigns: ‘Pharmacy First’ and ‘Wish Upon a Superdrug Star’.
By leveraging personalised store locators in emails and push notifications, the retailer made it easier for customers to access in-store pharmacy services. Similarly, it drove competition engagement via a unique star map based on customer locations, designed to connect customers’ digital and in-store experiences.
Super-Pharm and Revieve
Super-Pharm's omnichannel approach, powered by Revieve’s AI driven Skincare and Makeup Advisors and Virtual Try-On solutions, has created a truly seamless shopping experience across online, mobile, and in-store platforms.
Vroom Delivery
Vroom Delivery is an omnichannel digital commerce solution specifically designed for the convenience store industry - first-party ordering, third-party marketplace management, and in-store food ordering kiosks.
All channels are centralised and fully automated through its Automated Menu Management System, allowing all products in-store to be listed through the various channels.
