The Cotswold Company ramps up investment focus on delivery and after-care services with new facilities

The Cotswold Company, a handcrafted furniture and homeware brand, has launched its first Cotswold Home Delivery (CHD) Training Academy and second UK depot in Swindon. 

Located in Lichfield, Staffordshire, the CHD Training Academy provides training for new and existing staff.

It features three interchangeable room sets – bedroom, living room, and kitchen – as well as a full size stairway, to simulate the real-life delivery scenarios that colleagues may face.

This enables delivery colleagues to learn how to confidently navigate tight spaces, bends in staircases and different floor types.  

The launch forms part of The Cotswold Company’s broader investment focus on delivery and after-care services. Later this month, the brand will open its second UK delivery depot in Swindon, which will employ 21 people, and add ten new vans to its fleet in time for Christmas.
