RTIH rounds up the stand out retail technology deployments and pilots from the past seven days.

Danish online supermarket, nemlig.com, has teamed with RELEX Solutions on a supply chain project.

The retailer says the partnership gives it an artificial intelligence driven forecasting solution that improves the quality and accuracy of its sales forecasts, including for promotional and markdown campaigns. RELEX will also automate its replenishment processes. 

emporix has won a contract to provide its e-grocery software to Hungrily.

Hungrily, which operates in the Andover region of the UK, had to switch from home cooking to online groceries after its existing business model took a back seat amid the coronavirus lockdown. It opted for emporix to provide the necessary technology based on its work with Lieferladen.de in Germany. 

Poland-based startup Reetail:AR has unveiled an augmented reality solution and announced a partnership with baby furniture brand Woodies Safe Dreams. 

The latter will deploy WebAR technology for AR projections of its flagship products, the Star Cot, the 2-in-1 Hampton Cot Bed, and Noble Cot Vintage. 

Northern England supermarket chain, Booth’s, has selected Logile’s store planning and workforce management suites.

Booths will implement the software solutions throughout its store locations, petrol stations, warehouses and corporate office. This marks US venture Logile's first UK-based customer.

KFC Canada has selected a SaaS-based analytics solution from Manthan as part of its digital transformation journey.

The aim is to gain deeper insights across all aspects of its business, including dynamic demand, inventory, operations, e-commerce, guest experience, voice of customer, marketing and CRM, audit and compliance and associate training and productivity.  

Co-op is extending its deployment of Starship Technologies robots across Milton Keynes and surrounding towns and villages.

ManoMano has appointed OneStock for a project in the UK and across Europe.

Carrefour is to deploy Pricer’s electronic shelf label system at 43 of its stores in France.  

The Dune Group has announced a partnership with buy now, pay later big hitter Klarna.

The retailer’s online customers can now use Klarna’s Pay later products (pay in 30 days and Instalments) in five European markets (Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom).

One Stop has selected Vista Retail Support to provide technology support (including EPoS and back office IT) and project services for its estate of 900+ stores across the UK.

Europe’s largest wholesale distributor of professional hair and beauty products, Pro-Duo, has partnered with digital commerce agency, Astound Commerce UK (ACUK), to upgrade its French and German e-commerce sites.
