$18 millionWhitebox, a US-based startup focused on e-commerce logistics and fulfilment, has raised $18 million in Series B funding.

1Aldi UK has launched its first Click and Collect service.

Following a trial with staff, customers can order from a full range of products online, then collect them from the discounter’s Allendale Road store in Loughborough, Leicestershire.

10Amazon has announced a new programme called Climate Pledge Friendly, part of its commitment to reach the Paris Agreement ten years early and be net zero carbon by 2040. 

$60 million…US-based PayTech venture SpotOn Transact has wrapped a $60 million Series C funding round. 

2,500…The ethics and actions of brands during the coronavirus pandemic have significantly impacted customer loyalty in the UK and Ireland, according to research by PFS and LiveArea.

The two surveyed 2,500 consumers and found that 58% feel greater loyalty towards online retailers and brands that have helped people during the outbreak. 53%, meanwhile, approve of those who have demonstrated a commitment to the safety of their staff.

These are CarbonCure Technologies, Pachama, Redwood Materials, Rivian, and Turntide Technologies.
