Ten retail tech funding rounds you need to know about

These in demand retail technology ventures should be on your radar.

1. Lexer

Customer data platform Lexer has bagged $25.5 million in a Series B round led by Blackbird Ventures and King River Capital.

2. Deliverr

US-based e-commerce fulfilment company, Deliverr, has raised a $170 million Series D led by Coatue with participation from Brookfield Technology Partners, Activant Capital, 8VC and GLP.

This brings its total funding to $240 million.

3. Vestiaire Collective

Paris-based luxury fashion resale website Vestiaire Collective has announced a $216 million financing round backed by Gucci owner Kering and US investment firm Tiger Global Management.

This values it at over $1 billion.

4. Instacart

US grocery delivery venture Instacart has pulled in $265 million from its existing investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, and D1 Capital Partners.

This values the company at $39 billion, up from $17.8 billion at the time of its previous fundraise, which closed in November last year. 

5. Crisp

Dutch online-only supermarket, Crisp, has raised €30 million in a Series B round led by Target Global.

Crisp has secured a total of €46 million in funding since launching in 2018.

6. Rohlik

Czech online grocer, Rohlik, has secured $230 million to expand in existing markets and enter new countries across Europe.

The funding round was led by Partech, and joined by Index Ventures, EBRD, J&T Bank, Quadrille Capital, R2G and existing investor Enern.

7. Flink

Berlin-based on-demand grocery delivery startup, Flink, has raised $52 million in seed financing.

The round was led by Target Global and existing investors Northzone, Cherry Ventures and TriplePoint Capital. It brings total funding to date to $64 million. 

8. Bother

London-based startup Bother has secured £4.4 million in pre-Series A funding from the likes of Sun Hung Kai & Co and Venrex Investment Management.

The company, which launched last year, aims to replenish household essentials – such as cleaning products and store cupboard ingredients – through the use of AI technology called the Bother Brain.

9. Jungle Scout

Jungle Scout, pitched as an all-in-one platform for Amazon sellers, has landed $110 million in growth capital and acquired adtech venture Downstream Impact.

10. Snapcommerce

Canada-based mobile commerce startup Snapcommerce has raised $85 million in a funding round led by Inovia Capital and Lion Capital.
