New EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg EV charging station includes REWE Ready autonomous microstore

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg has opened a NextLevel Ladepark EV charging station in Chemnitz, Germany.

This includes a Reckon AI powered REWE Ready microstore.

In a LinkedIn post, Francisco Vasconcelos, COO at Reckon.ai, said: “Another state-of-the-art microstore, powered by Reckon.ai.”

“Last week was the official opening of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg NextLevel Ladepark in Chemnitz. This EV charging station has 24 high power charging points and is the first of many.”

He added: “With game changing developments to address different aspects of sustainability, the customers of this charging station have a 24/7 fully autonomous microstore from REWE Ready with approximately 200 products.”

“As many people that were present at the opening event, also Nico Rosberg (former Formula 1 driver) had the opportunity to visit and experience the ease and simplicity of the solution. It's a magnificent result from a great collaboration with Lekkerland, for which we congratulate specially Mehmet Tözge (Director Smart Store Development at Lekkerland) and Luca Heidari (Senior Consultant Smart Store Development) for the enthusiasm and dedication to make it happen.”

Carrefour Reeborn

Last month, Carrefour Belgium opened a Carrefour Reeborn pop-up for second-hand items in the centre of Brussels.

In what the retailer is labelling a European first, people can use this to sell second-hand non-food items such as clothing, furniture, bicycles, and toys.

In doing so, they can collect Carrefour Bonus Points and use them to do their shopping in a Carrefour store of their choice.

Said stores are also able to sell their surplus stock of new non-food products through Reeborn.

Further details here.

The pop-up will run from 18th April to 15th September, from Thursdays to Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It can be found at Chaussée d'Ixelles, 313 in 1050 Ixelles.

It is the result of a collaboration with Reckon AI.
