Piglet in Bed onboard as Retail247 Accelerate Programme supports growth of emerging retailers

Retail247 has announced the launch of its Accelerate Programme, an implementation template which promises emerging retailers the supportive technological framework they need in order to scale efficiently and effectively.

Benefits include: Defined templates and processes; Shorter implementation timeframes; Manageable costs.

According to a press release: “The Accelerate Programme means that emerging brands can access the same sophisticated and empowering technology that longer established retailers use, in a way that meets their current and future needs.”

“Scalability is a critical aspect of business growth, and the Accelerate Programme has this capability at its core.”

One of Retail247’s newest clients, Piglet in Bed, used the Accelerate Programme to deploy PIM solution Origin (it can also be used to deploy Retail247’s stock management platform, Archean).

Some retailers require more custom elements, but emerging businesses like Piglet in Bed benefit from more defined templates and processes.

Retail247 says that the initiative offers this solution, making Origin the ideal platform for newer businesses to launch and manage their product data. This structured approach also guarantees a shorter implementation timeframe and manageable costs, it adds.

Martin Schofield, CEO at Retail247, says: “The concept of centralised and curated product data is applicable to all, however, less established retailers do not necessarily need the full configurability that Origin has to offer.”

“It can be more important to take on board best practice and this is why we have created the Accelerate deployment model.”

“The Accelerate Programme is a pre-configured fast track deployment approach that means that we can deliver business benefit faster whilst still leaving the option of taking more complex and configured capability in future phases. It’s great to be able to offer our solutions to a wider range of retailers.”

Axel Stelk, Co-founder and CFO at Piglet in Bed, says: “Implementation was a very smooth process. We kicked off by doing a process mapping exercise in which Retail247 reviewed all of our existing processes.”

“The team then demonstrated how Origin would fit alongside our current systems by saving time and making processes more effective.”

“Subsequently, we had weekly calls in which the team updated us on their progress and asked us any questions. We always felt safe in the knowledge that Retail247 knew exactly what they were doing.”
