Andrew Cron joins Invafresh as Chief Data Officer at pivotal time for grocery retail technology space

Invafresh, whose AI platform optimises grocery store operations, covering merchandising, replenishment, compliance, and waste prevention, has appointed Andrew Cron as Chief Data Officer. 

He joins from 84.51˚, Kroger’s retail data science, insights and media company, where he was SVP, Chief Scientist.

In this role, directing a 100 member cross functional team comprising of researchers, data scientists and engineers, he built and led the R&D vision and strategy for Kroger’s data analytics and data monetisation subsidiary, enhancing its in-store and supply chain operations, as well as CPG partner product performance.

Prior to 84.51˚, he held senior data scientist roles with Citadel, Weinrub Analytics and MaxPoint.
