Convenience retailer EG America brings in Whitney Johnson as Vice President of Loyalty and Digital Commerce
EG America, a convenience store retailer in the United States, has appointed Whitney Johnson as Vice President of Loyalty and Digital Commerce.
In a LinkedIn post, it said: “She joins us from Capstone Growth Advisors and GoBrands, and will lead our loyalty programme, digital marketing, brand management, and retail marketing functions. Welcome to the EG America family, Whitney!”
Headquartered in Westborough, Massachusetts, EG America has 1,600+ locations across the following store banners: Certified Oil, Cumberland Farms, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N Jug, Minit Mart, Sprint Food Stores, Tom Thumb, Turkey Hill, and Quik Stop. The HQ in Westborough, MA is home to its store support centre, company warehouse, and culinary centre.
EG Group, its parent company headquartered in Blackburn, England, is a fuel station and convenience retailer.

Dr. Christian Bock is departing Aldi Nord where he held the position of Team Lead Store Computer Vision.
Bock has also worked at companies including REWE Digital and Telefónica Germany.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: “After a wonderful and eventful four years and six months, I say goodbye to Aldi Nord and start a new professional challenge in the summer.”
“The time was characterised by super exciting tasks where I was able to grow and learn every day. I will never forget the numerous successes that we have achieved together and those that are already in the pipeline.”
He added: “Above all, I would like to thank my wonderful colleagues, my superiors and top management, who made this time something very special for me. Your commitment, your willingness to help and your always positive mindset have inspired me anew every day and made every day a special pleasure for me.”
“Thank you for the great cooperation, the many, many unforgettable moments and the great trust placed in me. I will miss you all very much!”
He concluded: “Of course, I don't leave without melancholy. Aldi Nord has been like a second home for me in recent years. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to the new tasks that lie ahead of me. All the best for you and Aldi Nord! You keep rocking it!”
Bock declined to tell RTIH where his next challenge lies, but did say that he will remain in the retail sector and that his new job starts in August.
