RTIH Top 100 Retail Technology Influencer Megan Ludlow departs M&S Ignite for M&S International

Megan Ludlow has made the move from her Innovation Partnerships role at Marks and Spencer Ignite to join the team at M&S International as Product Manager, International E-commerce.

In a LinkedIn post, she said: “It's been an incredible journey so far, and I'm excited to be part of a team that's at the forefront of helping expand the reach of the M&S brand globally.”

“During the two years I spent working in Ignite programme, I had the privilege of helping build the Ignite brand - personally meeting over 750 startups, launching 30+ trials and securing a number of innovation partnerships that continue to drive value across M&S.”

Highlights, she added, included launching the first M&S Global Startup challenge with True, and being named one of RTIH’s Top 100 Retail Technology Influencers two years in a row.

Ludlow concluded: “Thank you so much to everyone who I met during my time in Ignite. There are too many wonderful people to thank everyone individually.”

“But I can't go without particularly thanking Stuart Ramage (Head of Digital Strategy & Innovation) and Nauman Ahmed (Head of Digital Strategy and Startup Partnerships) for the opportunity to work in Ignite and to Aarthi Thangavel (Associate, Innovation at True), Liam Buswell (Director - Innovation & Strategy at True), Jamie C (Associate, True), Ben Cheston (Managing Director at greyhairworks!) and Alex Meisl (Co-founder, greyhairworks!) for your wisdom in retail innovation and beyond.”

“I’m still learning the ropes of Product Management but I'm thoroughly enjoying the new challenge and opportunity to apply my skills and experiences in a new team. Oh, and if you have any recommendations of good books about Digital Product, let me know!”
