Julius Valma departs Vinted Go to focus full time on launch of new e-commerce technology startup called OrderKrab
Julius Valma has left his Senior Backend Software Engineer role at Vinted Go, the shipping brand of Vinted, an online consumer-to-consumer marketplace for buying, selling, and exchanging new or secondhand items, to focus on his own startup, OrderKrab.
In a LinkedIn post, he said: “Big change ahead! After my greatest journey yet at Vinted Go, I’ve decided to take the leap and go full-time on my own startup OrderKrab. At Vinted I got to work on some really exciting things: shipping carrier, sorting centre automation, conveyors, robotics - as a Senior Backend Engineer. I learned a whole lot, built big projects, and worked with some of the smartest people I’ve met. I’ll always be grateful for that.”
He added: “But now it’s time to build. With OrderKrab, the idea is simple: help e-shops bring fulfillment in-house and make it fast with Amazon style pick and pack process, efficient, and affordable. On top of that, we’re also building shipping aggregation services to make shipping less of a headache.”

He concluded: “I know it’s a bold move, but I believe this space is ready for change. Fulfillment shouldn’t be a luxury that only the biggest players can afford. And, we have already helped to fulfill first 2,000 orders.”
“So here I am, excited, a bit nervous, but ready. If you’re curious about what we’re building, interested in e-commerce/logistics, or even just want to talk about opportunities to collaborate (or invest), I’d love to chat. Here’s to new beginnings.”
2025 RTIH INNOVATION AWARDS
E-commerce technology will be a key focus area at the 2025 RTIH Innovation Awards.
The awards. which are now open for entries, celebrate global tech innovation in a fast moving omnichannel world.
Our 2024 hall of fame entrants were revealed during an event which took place at RIBA’s 66 Portland Place HQ in Central London on 21st November, and consisted of a drinks reception, three course meal, and awards ceremony presided over by comedian Lucy Porter.
In his welcome speech, Scott Thompson, Founder and Editor, RTIH, said: “The event is now into its sixth year and what a journey it has been. The awards started life as an online only affair during the Covid outbreak, before launching as a small scale in real life event and growing year on year to the point where we’re now selling out this fine, historic venue.”
He added: “Congratulations to all of our finalists. Many submissions did not make it through to the final stage, and getting to this point is no mean feat. Checkout-free stores, automated supply chains, immersive experiences, on-demand delivery, next generation loyalty offerings, inclusive retail, green technology. We’ve got all the cool stuff covered this evening.”
“But just importantly we’ve got lots of great examples of companies taking innovative tech and making it usable in everyday operations - resulting in more efficiency and profitability in all areas.”
Congratulations to our 2024 winners, and a big thank you to our sponsors, judging panel, the legend that is Lucy Porter, and all those who attended November's gathering.
