Highsnobiety goes online shopping with commercetools

Highsnobiety has teamed with commercetools on the launch of its first global e-commerce platform.

The venture began life in 2005 as a fashion blog and is now an online publisher and media brand. It says that it chose commercetools for “its innovative and agile technology including flexible frontend development capabilities, a strong backend and a headless, API commerce system. This allows us to launch new product drops on a continuous basis to drive consistent web traffic and sales”.

“Commerce has long been a demand from our audience, who wants to connect with the products they are reading in our magazine, on our website, and social channels,” says Max Berger, Managing Director, Commerce at Highsnobiety.

“When we selected our platform, we really looked at how we could merge e-commerce and content with the technology that commercetools provides. We wanted a strong back end to scale our business.” adds Laura Mehler, VP Strategy & Operations, Commerce at Highsnobiety.
