Openpay bags another Premier League club as it woos Wolves

Buy now, pay later specialist Openpay has added English football club Wolves to its merchant roster.

It becomes the second Premiership side to offer Openpay’s solution to fans, following last month’s partnership announcement with Fulham FC.

It will now be possible to purchase online and spread the cost of replica kits and other merchandise over one to three months, without interest.

Andy Harding, UK MD at Openpay, says: “Wolves are one of the most exciting teams in the Premier League and we’re extremely proud to become their payment partner. They are a club which has done fantastic work in growing their fanbase internationally and domestically.”

“And with that comes an increase in replica shirts and merchandise sales - especially when kits are as eye-catching as Wolves’ this season. We look forward to many years of this partnership and being able to provide financial flexibility to fans.”

Vinny Clark, General Manager at Wolves, comments: “This partnership is an important step in delivering a better, more accessible retail experience to our fans.”

“Our goal is to offer fans a convenient and seamless journey from the moment they enter our online store to the time their order lands on the doorstep. We believe our integration with Openpay will help us do this.”

Australian headquartered Openpay launched in the UK in early 2019. It says that it will announce further retail partners in the coming months.
